markerstones for the millennium

It was the day of the England - Argentina World Cup match in 2002. We just managed to assemble the kids together, make a sortie into the dale and get some text onto paper before the game took over.

David Fine had worked his magic in the Dale but we never found time to complete the poem, so we designed a format that would combine the disparate lines, together with verse written by other parishioners.
